Subjects for I to X Classes

At Anugraha Mandhir we have implemented child friendly and student-centric learning tools that focus on developing the skills and abilities of students at each stage of their school education besides building their knowledge in subjects.

Languages: English is the first language, with Tamil and Hindi being optional second and third languages.
Reading and writing: Students are encouraged to take initiative to complete reading assignments and specially designed writing assignments.
Critical thinking and problem solving: Mental mathematics, science meets/exhibitions.
Communication and technology: Students are introduced to a variety of hands-on exercises on PC, to use softwares like MS Office and internet usage. We teach them to make use of technology, internet and social medias for constructive purposes.
Engage in healthy competition: Through literary activities like Cambridge English, Olympiads, Spell bee, Elocution, Seminars, Extempore, JAM, etc.
Community and social involvement: Students actively participate and lead community initiatives organized by the school.

Syllabus for Class X Assessment – Total 100 marks
Subjects	Board Examination (80 Marks)	Internal Assessment (20 Marks)			Subjects
	Student should score 33% marks out of 80 marks in each subject in order to pass the exam. Board will conduct Class-X Examination for 80 marks in each subject which will cover 100% syllabus of the subject of Class-X only. Marks and Grades both will be awarded for Individual subjects. 9-point grading will be same as followed by the Board in Class XII.	Student must score 33% marks out of 20 marks in each subject for getting pass in exams.

Language 1		Periodic written test, restricted to three in each subject in an Academic Year. Average of the best two tests to be taken for final marks submission.	This will cover: Regularity, Assignment Completion, Neatness & upkeep of notebook.	Speaking and listening skills	Language 1
